Abstract
The article by Ukrainian ethnomusicologist Liudmyla Aliieva (Людмила Алiєва) deals with the information on folk music research in Eastern Podillia, from the second half of the last century up to the our times. In particular, information on folkloristic activities of well-known collectors Anastasiia Prysiazhniuk and Hnat Tantsiura are presented. The work on the fixation of musical folklore in this region was analyzed by research institutions of Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kropyvnytskyi. Also, materials collected by some researchers – Anatolii Zavalniuk, Mykhailo Khai, Nina Kerimova, Nataliia and Oleksandr Tereshchenko, Antonina Storozhuk and others were described.
