Abstract
At the current stage, the study of spiritual, cultural and educational centers that have formed in different regions of Ukraine is relevant. On the territory of Volyn, there were several centers where Ukrainian educational, spiritual, and cultural work wasactively carried out. Such centers were Ostrog, Volodymyr, Lutsk, Kovel, Kremyanets, Pochaiv, Peresopnytsia, Derman, and others. Among them, Derman takes a worthy place - the ancient center of the spiritual life of the region, the center of Slavic culture in Volyn.
