Анотація

У статті проаналізовано етнополітику Української Держави часів президентства В. Ющенка в питанні пошанування жертв Голодомору 1932–1933 рр. Автор обстоює думку про його використання в якості одного з конструктів формування колективної пам’яті громадян України. Ця гіпотеза сформульована на основі вивчення тих векторів у діяльності Президента України, котрі здійснювалися ним як у внутрішній політиці, так і на міжнародній арені.

В статье проанализирована этнополитика Украинского Государства времен президентства В. Ющенко в вопросе признания жертв Голодомора 1932–1933 гг. Автор отстаивает мысль о его использовании в качестве одного из конструктов формирования коллективной памяти граждан Украины. Эта гипотеза сформулирована на основе изучения тех векторов в деятельности Президента Украины, которые осуществлялись им как во внутренней политике, так и на международной арене.

The article analyzes the Ukrainian state’s ethnic policy during the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko on the issue of commemorating of the victims of Holodomor of 1932–1933. The author defends the idea of using it as one of the constructs forming the collective memory of the citizens of Ukraine. This hypothesis is formulated on the study of vectors of the President of Ukraine, which were realised in domestic politics and in the international arena.
It time of presidency of V. Yushchenko began construction of the memory model, which looked like a Polish. This is the foundation of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory (UINM). It became the main institutionalized subject of state in the field of creation of collective / national memory of the citizens of Ukraine, which was defined in the tasks of UINM.
Removing of the taboo of Holodomor was accompanied by the opening of a number of archival documents. It is not just about funds of regional archives, but the archives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine. This step of V. Yushchenko can not be underestimated. In fact, after decades of silence historians (after all, as political analysts) have access to primary sources, and this created an opportunity not only to study the tragedy of the Ukrainian people, but also give a legal assessment of the crime of the Soviet leadership guided by primary sources, to formulate a scientific reading of events 1932–1933.
Reinforce the memory of Holodomor during the presidency of V. Yushchenko contributed to the studying of this tragedy in schools, colleges and universities of the country. This, together with the legislative acts of the President and Parliament, the establishment and activity of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the erection of monuments, the improvement of mass graves of victims that defined "contours" of symbolic space of Holodomor, commemorative practices, in particular – the introduction of ritual of commemorating of the innocent victims (by lighting candles in homes) defined the policy of memory of Holodomor in Ukraine during the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko.
