Анотація

У статті проаналізовано пануючі у вітчизняному науковому та політичному просторі концепції конструювання української національної ідеї. Визначено їх конструктивні та деструктивні елементи. Висвітлено основні підходи до трактування сутності національної ідеї та, з їх урахуванням, визначено можливі шляхи її конструювання в українському випадку.

В статье проанализированы господствующие в отечественном научном и политическом пространстве концепции конструирования украинской национальной идеи. Определены их конструктивные и деструктивные элементы. Освещены основные подходы в трактовке сущности национальной идеи и, с их учетом, определены возможные пути ее конструирования в украинском случае.

The article deals with the dominant in Ukrainian science and political area conceptions about constructing of Ukrainian national idea. The main definitions of the category of national idea are analysed and the most appropriate, in our view, idea, which is proposed by R. Korshuk (national idea as a construct that contains the following components: a consensus vision of the past, the program of development of the nation in the future and the country's mission in the world) is chosen. Among all the ways of national idea’s constructing which were proposed by Ukrainian historians, philosophers and political scientists as the most destructive were interpreted those which are based on the definition of Ukraine as the separate civilizational space or repel of the contradictory memorable symbols that antagonize the society rather consolidate it. The formula of combining of the least controversial of mutually exclusive symbols in the politics of memory, the including of modernization element into the strategy of country’s development in the future, introduction of Ukraine as a torch of Democracy on postsoviet area, and the “mystics” of intercivilizational dialog in the formulation of country’s mission in the world – all these we consider as possible ways of constructing of national idea. All the ways of constructing of Ukrainian national idea, which were proposed in the article, are an attempt to stimulate more constructive discussion on this question and in any case, do not pretend to be universal. The highlighted concepts are only the thinking which is intended to provoke further intellectual reflection.
