Анотація

In the article the essence of the concepts «nation», «nationalism», «national idea» and «national selfaffirmation of the individual» are considered. The problem of national self-affirmation education in school youth under conditions of Ukrainian nation establishment is actualized. The main features of the nation and the nation state and factors their formation, which indicate the independence and freedom of people in national selfaffirmation are characterized. The prospects of national self-affirmation education in school youth are considered as a process of civic nation formation, where every member of the Ukrainian community should be realized through his own implication to the establishment of the Ukrainian nation, civil society, to be responsible to his national state and cooperate jointly with other citizens in the state and the nation profit.
